For this project, we used a technique called levitation.
Levitation involves making a person appear to float in a photo without any visible support, creating a magical effect.
We used a Canon camera with the settings ISO 800, 20 mm, f/5.6, and 1/4000 sec.
Additionally, we used a chair stool and a tripod to keep the camera steady and ensure a consistent background for later editing.
First, we set up the tripod very low to capture the bottom of the person.
We placed the camera on the tripod, adjusted the settings, and positioned the chair slightly back to capture the entire scene.
Jaslyn, the person in the photo, sat on the chair while my helper Alexa held up pieces of her hair to enhance the magical effect.
I took the shot and then took another photo without any subjects to facilitate the editing process, making it appear as though Jaslyn was floating with her hair suspended.

I think both pictures turned out great in the end.
Another pose I would like to try involves one of the girls wearing a dress, placing the chair in the middle, and having the dress fall down while her hair is lifted, similar to the first picture.
This would create the illusion of her falling from the sky.
I always consider the comfort and willingness of the person, as they are the main subject of the picture.
